Do you believe that the forest is full of tiny creatures, invisible to us humans, but very much alive and busily leading wonderful and extraordinary lives in between bushes and trees? Have you ever thought you saw something, just a tiny nut-shaped head or a brown stick-body, peeking up from the woodsy wayside? Then this is is the film for you!
Kooky is a Czech fantasy film from 2010 combining puppet animation, stop motion and live action, to bring you the most amazing little story you’ve ever seen on screen. It has all the magic I love, artistry, imagination, comic lines and endearing eccentric characters! And it’s completely free of computerized animation and special effects!
The story is about a little red teddy bear named Kooky who finds himself alone on a garbage dumpster. He has to use his wit and imagination to escape the guardians of the dumpster, and flee in to the magical forest world, where he meets the captain, a half blind guardian car racer who needs Kooky’s help to save a family of bird stuck on a tractor.
Together, they embark on a magical adventure filled with fire, snow, river crossings, wet stuffing, bottle-melting prisons, and a villain who wants to take over the guardianship of the entire forest!
This film had me laughing out loud, tearing up, smiling, cheering and applauding! It is exactly the kind of movie I just adore!
Again please! 😄😄
